My mom & I visited Sosua beach while staying in Cabarete. The water at Sosua is much prettier & much clearer, as well as being calm enough to swim. We loved the snorkeling there; however, the reef is about 100m out from the beach so...More

It is a beautiful beach and it was better as our hotel beach. We came here for several times. It is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. Due to the competitive situation, the prices for umbrellas and sunbeds are good. When you rent a sunbed with...More

Plenty of shade and places to eat for any size group. The downside is the tremendous amount of trash left allover the beach. Be careful of broken glass in the water by wearing some thick-soled water shoe.

After two stops of fantastic snorkeling with a local provider in the Bay of Sosua, we relaxed on Sosua beach with some Margaritas and fresh caufgt boiled shrimp...YUM. The snorkeling was very interesting and colorful to say the least, with fantastic guides.

If you are even close to this beach don't hesitate...GO!!! The water is soooo clear, warm, calm and has quite a few fish swimming in it. Talk about a wonderful family day, we would love to go back again and again.
