The Alyeska Tram is a must-do in Girdwood. The views are phenomenal! Pro tip- pick up some Wild Scoops ice cream in the Sundry Shop before you head to the top. Enjoy Anchorage’s best ice cream and view at the same time.

We hiked up Alyeska therfore we're rewarded with the tram ride back down. The view is breathtaking from the summit. There's is a little gift shop and eatery at the top as well. The tram ride was very smooth and totally worth the while.

Very beautiful views at the top of the tram! When we went the Round House gift shop at the top was closed which was disappointing because they had some really nice things in there that I could see through the windows. Photo ops galore. Just...More

Well worth the money. The ride on the gondola was smooth both up and down. The views are spectacular. This was an incredible side excursion for my trip to Anchorage. The "museum" and "gift shop" were a disappointment

Short wait for tram with both directions. Adult admission $32.00. Beautiful panoramic views of mountains, water and hanging glaciers. Well maintained observation deck. Gift shop, cafe and trail to hike to the top. Restrooms available at ticket office and observation area.

The trolleys/cars run regularly and loading and unloading was efficient. The ride up was quick as there was a race event on for charity and lots of competitors hiking the mountain. The ride down was even quicker but the views were fantastic. Food outlets, bars...More

So worth the trip even though it wasn’t perfectly clear! The views were beautiful! I did the ticket with the ride plus food voucher and wasn’t disappointed at all. It was a good value to purchase the combined ticket in my opinion.

A great tram ride with views all the way up and down along with options up top. If you don't have time to eat at the deli or 7 Glaciers stroll around and take in the view and a hike if you wish. You will...More
