We walked by this church, it wasn’t till later that I learned some history. George Washington and Robert E Lee worshipped here. Beautiful church in a very nice location, there’s just lots to see in Alexandria.

I was able to visit on a lovely morning with a blue sky. The docent gave me a one-on-one tour that was wonderful, sharing the history and of course showing me George Washington's family pew. I also loved the gift shop, where I chatted with...More

I love how clean simple and light the interior is for the service and the gift shop is cute and the courtyard and garden-cemetery is very peaceful and zen so I often bring my lunch to sit outside and eat there to relax.

There is street parking, We walked from our hotel. Another option is using the free trolley that runs up and down King Street and walking about two blocks.
