With the great weather in Austin, I always recommend a jog or bike around the lake. If you have the time or need a good date recommendation go kayaking or paddle boarding. I have such great memories here.

Relaxing walk around the lake. Inconsistent surfaces can be challenging. Part of the trail disappears from time to time.

The bridge is nice and good to go on it's very long reaches from one end to the other end and you can definitely see the city very well from their.

The trail is easily accessed and provides you with easy walking down by the water. Much cooler than walking on the sidewalks and great views are included!

What an awesome trail with great views of Austin and the Colorado river. Running. Hiking. Biking. Slowly walking looking around. Hahaha.

There wasn’t anything special here. We did go kayaking which is harder than we thought. We could have used this time to do something else. However if you like kayaking or paddle boarding this place is for you

Loved biking and walking this trail, we used it daily while in Austin. I highly recommend checking out the Austin Public Library while you’re walking the area. It’s the best library I’ve ever seen while traveling this country.

Tried this while in Austin on business. Perfect for a run; shady with great views of the lake. Four mile loop.

Barton Springs Pool and beautiful green surroundings was a nice cool spot. The “pool” reminded me of an old quarry. The bottom did have some green algae, as all natural surroundings do, but the aluminum handrails, though hot from the sun, helped with the walking...More

Easy place to go to ride bikes, walk, and jog. A mixed of paved and dirt trails. Well maintained and easily accessible from downtown! No electric scooters are allowed on the trails.

Hi Laura. The bicycle rental & app was called Pace. We downloaded the apps on both of our phones and were able to rent for as little or as long as you wanted. It was not expensive and would have been a better experience if... More

I know the rental place by Barton Springs is cash only, but Texas Rowing Center accepts debit cards. It's located on N. Side of River near austin High School
