We went for a day trip to this island together with uros. This was interesting as it was different to the rest of the things we got to see in Peru. People living on this island still have their own culture. We got to taste...More

You need to catch a ferry here but you'll be glad you did. The island has really amazing views from the top of the hill and the restaurants. The people there are friendly and helpful as well

Very taxing. No real reason to go unless your an avid hiker, climber and want to check off this climb. Pix could be great but we, struggling the altitude and leg pain, had little time to enjoy because of pushing. Guided tours in Peru usually...More

This island boasts beautiful sand beaches, very quaint restaurants, and views that are unrivaled. You can see the bolivia mountains as well. An absolute must.

Easy going. No noise of cars or motorcycles. Nice footpath to walk around the island. Very friendly people. Off course people want to earn money with selling items. We had a very good lunch with the perfect view to the lake.

To get fabulous views, you need to pay a price. It's a moderate climb up the hills of this unique island, a rather flat walk and a steep descent again to the port on the other side. Very rewarding. Friendly people, simple, honest and tasty...More

Second largest island of Peru on the Lake Titikaka is a must visit place for all visitors. A group walk on the island, dance show by local people and a good lunch in a local restaurant was very nice.

We heard many different tales about climbing this island. What we discovered is there are no 500 steps, There are two paths steep, and a moderate incline. Both can be challenging. Take altitude sickness pills and acclimate for several days. The Island is beautiful and...More

I believe so. I remember reading about an overnight stay on that island too. I’m sure you’ll find several touring agencies that offer it.
