Arad Fort portrays how people long ago managed security and manning the waters of Bahrain. It is set on a high point of the island and interesting to see certain aspects of creativity in the building structure. Its a quick trip though as you can...More

This ancient Fort seems to be royal hide and seek kind of place, its just amazing having many sub ways underground which seems endless and many. Been here shortly which is obviously worthy to visit and understand how ancient Bahrain used to civilized themselves.

We came here on a boat ride from the national museum. Nothing much to see, though you will get some good pictures of the city from the fort area. But, nothing to go out of your way for.

If visiting Muharraq then yes make a stop here, but don't expect to be wowed by the images or knowledge. Parking is easy and shared by Self Mall that's located opposite. We didn't pay any fee for entrance, there we're no guides available, no plaques...More

Place is nostalgic of old Bahrain port although place was recently renovated to help keep old sites from falling apart. Nice time to visit during winter season. Some vegetables are sold by stalls fresh harvest adjacent to the site. Not much to look at overall.

The fort is opposite the Seed Mall. The fort is rather small and it was not open when I visited. However the surrounding area is nice. The fort itself is not specifically worth a visit. But if you are in the area anyway then there...More

A 5-minute drive from Bahrain's elegant International Airport, it is one of the oldest archaeological sites on the island. The Aram Fort is not as big as its nearby brother, the Bahrain Fort. Built in the 15th century with traditional Islamic building techniques (palm trees,...More
