Very popular, be prepared to face the masses. Perfect example of one of the 365 Inca cities. Magnificent scenery in the Sacred Valley. Just a short hike from the lovely town of Pisac.

The road up to this ruin is not well maintained, so it may dissuade some from getting to the Pisac ruins. Don't let this be you. The drive is not that long, and the reward is more than worth it. This site is almost deserted...More

My husband and I found the ruins at Pisac to be much more enjoyable than Machu Picchu. The colectivo between Cusco and Pisac is only 8 soles each way for two people, then we took a taxi from the town up to the archeological park...More

Amazing place where you HAVE to stop on your way from Cusco to Machu Picchu. The ruins are stunning and the way down hill (takes around 2h30min) brings you through extraordinary places. You have to stop here if you are in the area, you won't regret...More

More interesting, authentic and less touristic than Machu Picchu. Go there in the afternoon, not in the morning, then there will be less people. Take three hours or more and don't spend to much time in the front-ruins because those in the back are nicer...More
