Here is where many of the world's embassies are found. There are great restaurants and athletic facilities here. We were even able to visit the country club and ate a very traditional meal which was very delicious while we were there.

Besides Miraflores, San Isidro is a charming neighborhood. Clean as all the places around Lima, it's beautiful and peaceful, more places to have a coffee and something local to eat.

It seems you are in a bubble inside Lima. It does not represent Lima at all. However, we found so many good restaurants there. The olive forest in the middle of the district is like an oasis!

Wish I could help but we didn't eat there. We stayed at a B&B and spent the rest of our time sightseeing and eating elsewhere. Can't imagine you can go wrong in Peru though. Everything they serve is delicious.

If you like Chinese or Chifa as they are called in Peru, the best in San Isidro is called Royal in Prescott Avenue. For Peruvian and International food there is the Tanta in the Park EL Olivar San Isidro
