This pretty park is a pleasant break from the traffic and bustle of Lima. And there are CATS! Volunteers care for the residents, some of which allow themselves to be petted (or adopted). Don't go if you hate cats--they are all over the place.

The cats appear to get lots of attention from tourists and locals alike. Their quality of like is better than cats living on their own in other parts of the city. Most of the people in the park appear to be local residents. They pet the cats and the children play with them.
My wife have four well cared for cats. We contribute to many different shelters and support cats in other places in the world.
