I went on a Sunday so it was very quiet. The tree has guards due to vandalism etc. They are pretty good at getting out of your way for photographs.

The Tree of Life is sn interesting place to visit any day of the week, but especially on a weekend. On the way from Manama visitors pass through some undeveloped areas where camels can be seen grazing off the road. One can also see some...More

For some people, the Tree of Life in Bahrain is nothing but a single tree surviving in the middle of the desert. Nothing really spectacular. Not really for tourists whose idea of travel is a photo op. There are other trees of life around the...More

Located about 30min drive from downtown Bahrain this tree is in the middle of no-where amongst the oil fields and sheep farms. It’s quite incredible this 430 year old tree has survived. It is amazing to think how Bahrain has changed in all those years...More

... in the desert, which makes it special I guess. Not much else to see. It is sight for sore eyes after the ugliness of the oil fields though.

Not worth to visit After crossing almost full Bahrain to see single tree. There is no conservation from government. No water and other facilities available. Some street vendors selling water otherwise visitors get exhausted.

Quite a drive from the north, or at least Saar where we left from, and it goes to say you need to take appropriate supplies for and be mindful of the temperatures you’ll be exposed to, but this magnificent, lonely being is worth your time...More

I can imagine that a few hundred years ago that this was a magnificent site, a large tree (almost 10m) in an open barren dessert. Sadly though due to neglect and oil reclamation in the surrounding area this is no longer the case. It's a...More

I would say the Mercure or Swissotel or Grand Ellite . All are next to the Seef Mall, but their prices might vary. We have the real estate exhibition from next week so the prices might go up slightly.
