This church honors Christ as he mourned over Jerusalem. The church is built in a tear drop shape as Christ shed tears for the city. Small and does not take long to visit. Adjacent to the Garden of Gethsemane.

This church is an important location for all Christians. It is dedicated to the Lord’s Prayer and how it is depicted both in the past and in the present.

This church is worth the entry and the best part is trying to find the “Our Father” in your home language. The prayer is written out in many of the world’s languages, even lesser known ones.

The Lord's Prayer in many different languages was the main attraction of this church, which I found to be somewhat underwhelming/ The origin of this was a tradition claiming Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer in the cave that formed the grotto under the church. Good...More

This was by far my favorite church on the Mount of Olives. The courtyard is decorated with more than 100 tile plaques with the Lord's Prayer in different languages, including ones I've never even seen before. There's also a nice, quiet wooded area if you...More
