Late afternoon and our guide Robert took us out to find the howlers. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shows true dedication to preserving these animals. What a wonderful experience and photos galore. I do recommend having mosquito repellant..they can be pretty bad.

Make sure to spray with bug spray beforehand. Its a fun activity to see tha baboons close up. It took some time to get them to come down though.

Loved this place! So fun hearing our guide call to the alpha male howler and he answers! Loved feeding the howlers mangoes! It was a great day and I highly recommend it!

In general, you tip 10% in Belize. The average Belizan makes $1.50 USD per hour. I'm a generous tipper and gave 40 belizan dollars. The guide was surprised I tipped so much. I'd say probably 10 Belizan dollars would be ok... More
