My wife and I spent 30+ minutes looking for parking as we wanted to stroll the streets -- but parking was impossible to find anywhere. We ended up giving up and just driving to the National Mall and spending time there. Disappointing...
We stayed about 15 min walk from the main bars and restaurants. It’s so relaxing down there, everyone is friendly and so many places to eat with restaurants from all over the world

There is something for everyone here...shopping, eating, history, walking, sightseeing, etc. there is a huge selection of dining establishments and shopping. I never tire because there is so much to do, and you can find anything within walking distance. Very eclectic!

A nice walk from the metro Foggy bottom, it is a small charming neighborhood with the canal, shops, restaurants and waterfront area; not to mention the beautiful Georgetown university front lawn!
