Visited the Shannon Falls while on holiday this September. Lovely walk up to the falls on a sunny day and it was spectacular. After a day and nights rainfall it was even more awesome!

Free access, free parking, well groomed trail. Gorgeous waterfall that is so high it appears as though it is flowing from the sky. A sight to see!

Worth a stop on the drive from Vancouver up to Whistler. Plenty of parking, just a short walk to the falls. There's a smooth paved path for strollers or wheelchairs. The view is stunning, very long waterfall.

Spectacular waterfall and very easy to access, you drive in off the sea to sky highway and you can see falls from the car park. Not many people around on a cloudy Wednesday in September. Walking trails around the falls were strenuous but had good...More

My husband groaned as we pulled into the parking lot to see multiple tour buses. We hoped coming at the end of summer would help with the crowds. The path to the falls might be listed as a hike, but it seems to be more...More

Easy access and a quick walk to be at the base of the beautiful falls. You can even see it from the road. There had just been a lot of rain when we visited so the falls looked amazing. Definitely a must for anyone passing...More

As you drive along the Sea to Sky highway you can see Shannon Falls high above on the mountain side. From the car park area it is only a short walk, around 350m through a forest of Douglas fir and Western Red Cedar along the...More

Good parking, and a relatively short easy walk to view the falls. In September they are not in full flood, but nevertheless are most impressive. I bet they are fantastic during the spring thaw. Some huge forest trees on the way.

You get very close to this impressive waterfall (which can cause problems for cameras due to spray) but viewing areas get crowded and whilst we were there one of the better spots was being monopolized by a wedding party.

You can take a stroller but a bit steep the higher you go. Enjoy.

Hi Rima I was at Shannon Falls back in June and from memory, it looked that you would be able to have a BBQ in the car park but there is isn't anywhere up by the falls - you would probably get a lot of spray on you... More
