If you have seen the other mayan temples and pyramids, this one is a lot different. It is a really small site with circular pyramids. This place is still being excavated so what you see is a tiny portion of what the site actually is....More

If you have ANY interest in history and ancient peoples, this is a great experience. It was a 2 hour drive from Ajijic, and seniors get in for FREE. (We paid anyway on our way out, it was well worth the admission price.) It's imperative...More

We toured these ancient grounds and were almost speechless! Wear comfy shoes so you can experience it all! Take a hat as it is hot with not much shelter.

This unique site is well worth a day trip out from Tequila or Guadalajara to see. Only recently discovered but also with am excellent interpretive centre it is a must see to learn about the civilization that uswd to be here.

It opens from 9am thru 5pm every day and yes, it will take oyu about 1hr to get there from GDL. You will love it!!.
