Love Kingston for day trips or 1-2 night stays. Love walking the waterfront, strolling into the shops. So nice!

We parked just outside town and took a lovely stroll along the traffic-free waterfront path. Lovely views across the lake with some helpful historical information boards at regular intervals. Highly recommended.

We had fun watching the sailboats out in the bay. There are a lot of benches to relax on. Frequently, there is live music

We took the trolley, then walked to many of the places we preferred to investigate. Sites, museums, people, boats, etc . . . Lots to see.

Vibrant and beautiful. There isn't much more to say... just walk around and take it in! Old men doing tai chi in the lawn, old and new boats to admire, top notch street dogs available for a quick bite before hitting the shops up in...More

Walked around the waterfront in the evening there were a good section of restaurants to choose from. It was later so most of the shops were already closed for the day.

Breath taking views and lots to see and do. Make sure to see the Kingston sign for a photo op! Lots of boat traffic and old buildings to see. Great place to walk.

Great day trip excursion. The coast guard was there as well welcoming people aboard And providing great photo opportunities. Took a great stroll along the water and I’d close to other attractions as well.

Not sure if there are bike paths but believe there is. I know there are some along the park on the lake downtown.

There is a pathway along the waterfront that is good, with some interruptions but good. Especially at the park along Lake Ontario.
