Really disappointed that our trail ride has been canceled for 17th October . We understand the weather is a big factor in safety of horse and rider and that it’s out of your control. But to then to have to wait 5-10 days for a...More

My husband and I went to Banff for our anniversary and by far, one of our favorite parts of the trip was Horseback riding. We only went for an hour but it was well worth it. Next time we visit, we will be going for...More

Low stress and fun horseback trip while in Banff. Really nice folks at this stable, which is very convenient to downtown Banff. Great guide. Horses were gentle and well behaved. Groups generally small and friendly. Ours only had 3 guest riders. Beautiful scenery. They also...More

Went on an overnight trip to Sundance Lodge. We stopped on the river and had an amazing steak lunch, complete with camp coffee. Upon arrival at the lodge we had a well appointed snack and warm beverages to hydrate. Cozy blankets and a warm fire....More

My boyfriend and I just visited Banff from Los Angeles and one of the first things we did was book a 2-hour horseback ride for our last day in town, which we were incredibly excited for. However, we only got to do a one-hour ride...More

My husband and I had a great time on this ride. We turned up and checked in very easily, then we were assigned our horses and were off in no time at all (after a quick safety briefing). We loved every second and we’re so...More

When in Banff, if you get a chance, take in the Horseback BBQ. On our ride, we were guided by the nicest cowgirls. They were able to answer questions about the names of mountains, and types of wildlife we may possibly see.

I went on the Bow River Ride and was disappointed because most of the ride was just through trees and maybe for 5-10 mins of it towards the end, we were walking along the Bow River and could see the mountains.

I would suggest the Bow Valley Loop ride, you will have no problem with heights, the trail does not go close to any edges etc.

All our rides are at a walking pace. The same as all outfitters in the National Park.
