Truly stunning views and an amazing story on how it came into being. Our tour guide, Carlos Alegria from Quinto Sol Tour (omatacapulco@gmail.com) shared all his knowledge and took some amazing pictures.

The cross stands tall and is easily seen on the top of the mountain. This is a memorial by a family that lost two sons in an air accident. Very weill done and you will enjoy the views.

The chapel is set on top of a mountain with beautiful views. It is a peaceful quiet place for reflection. A giant cross towers in the sky. The grounds are impeccable. There is no fee for access just a donation requested.

I was also told a plane crash by a local guide. The whole series of events was so tragic that there must be loads of documented info on it. Good luck with you research.
