In order to get a real flavor of Mexico and Acapulco, find the main Zocalo or town square. Local culture hits you right in the face. Local merchants display their wares and its a good place to souvenir shop. Don’t forget to bargain.

There is a cathedral, which can't be seen from distance as there are so many trees covering it. Few, very few restaurants but so many street sellers. Its crowded with people selling the regular non-interesting things
