We enjoyed our trip to Fort Charlotte. We decided to go last minute and were very happy we did. The Guides give you a quick history and then we got to wander around. Got lucky we were the only ones there. There was a bunch...More

Want my teenage kids to learn a bit about everywhere we take them. This was a good option to meet that goal. Quick in and out, well staffed, easy to get to and then back to the beach and pool.

We enjoyed visiting this fort and climbing to the top for the wonderful views of the island. Great photo spot especially with views of the cruise ships behind us in the photos. Enjoyed visiting with the Inspector General and police officers who were there that...More

We went on a Sunday and the gates were open and it was free. Another group went on a different day and paid five per person. It is fun walking around the fort and seeing the sites

A stop on our ATV tour. Guide was excellent and knew her history. Fort was neat to check out and the view from there was amazing. Tiny shops outside for souveniers.

I wasn't expecting much, but the tour guide brought the place to life. A lot of history here and some amazing stone work. Definitely worth the visit.

We were not allowed to drive in since the property was apparently under new ownership. However, even though we were allowed to walk in, there was still not much to see since the place is still in transition and the gift shop etc were closed.

Tour was awkward at best and problematic during the majority of the visit. Generally speaking a guide should never say that someone's freedom was just casually/benevolently provided because the “slaves looked sad” and the lieutenant wanted to see them smile. The guide also mentioned that...More

Hidden gem on the Charm & Beauty tour. Fort Charlotte is a beautiful piece of Nassau history. Our tour guide Patrick was pretty knowledgeable and added interesting fact - whether they can be verified or not is another thing, but he had a great sense...More

Less than an hour; there is a nice guided tour that is not very long, then you can wander around as long as you wish.Good views from up there too.

I believe it opens at 9:00am. The entrance closes at 4:00pm, but you can stay inside until 5:00pm.
