This beach is amazing! Water is a little rough, but fun if you are a decent swimmer. Short drive from Maracas (where the food is). Wish I looked up reviews first as my feet and ankles were itching days later from the sand flies :(...More

We were a little disappointed in this beach. The photos on the internet do not represent this beach at all. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax this would be perfect. If you're looking for the beautiful ambiance this is not it. Water...More

Beautiful white sands, calm blue waters, and much less crowded than other beaches made this day perfect. Arrive early and leave before 6pm to avoid traffic. There were some vendors selling fruits and snacks but it is best to take snacks and drinks. They have...More

This is a nice quiet beach, but parking can be a challenge and while the restroom/shower facilities are excellent, there are no food stalls at this location. We liked neighbouring Maracas beach a little better.

This beach is absolutely way better than maracas bay! It is much quieter than maracas and much more calmer. The only thing that I hope is that it doesn’t become as busy as maracas.

There are two car parks for this beach so if one is full you have the other option. If you go before noon there’s usually a space. After noon the crowds usually arrive. The sand flies were present as we entered the beach area but...More

I enjoyed this beach more than Maracas Bay. It's much quieter than the more popular Maracas. You can also reach it via the North Coast Road, east of Maracas. They have ablution facilities where you can join the line to use the showers. Be sure...More

Visited this beach after many years and frankly I am impressed with its cleanliness. That day the eating station was not open, so I had to rely on what little I brought. The sea was calm. Promised i would take a sea bath another time

Las Cuevas beach is located on the North coast of Trinidad. It's about a 35 minute drive from Port of Spain. I went on a Saturday. The parking lot was full, but there wasn't really many people on the beach. There are bathrooms with changing...More

I came to Las Cuevas beach for a solo beach trip on a weekday. The beach was largely empty, there were few groups and couples so it felt very secluded. The beach is in a bay so the water is very calm, it’s so clear...More
