I enjoyed the trail, the views of the mountains were gorgeous. Our guide was knowledgeable. I had read previous reviews and saw that some people did the hike in sandals, but I would definitely suggest tennis shoes. I had on converse, and it was doable....More
The scenery is simply magnificent but the trail can be challenging. The humidity may also be a challenging for some people. Bring plenty of water, bugs were not a problem at all. For me especially, as a good amateur photographer, it was heaven.

They are not the same, the walking path by the volcano is at Sulphur Springs which is not too far away from the Paul Tet Nature Trail. Hiring a Taxi Driver for the day to take you to both places might be your best bet. Even better if you get your driver to make a stop at Diamond Falls. La Tille Falls is also close to Diamond Falls. You can hit all of these places and have lunch at Fond Doux Plantation (very close to the trail head).
