If you want to relax away from TV,Phones and go to beach everyday. eat the best food in town, this is the place. The people are all extremely nice and friendly. The snorkeling place is where St Lucia's tourist go and you do not have...More

It’s a pretty beach. A little bigger than I’d imagined. It was a bit difficult to get into the water from the beach... bring water shoes... because of the rocks. Snorkeling was fun. Water was a tad murky when we went (late July). The cost...More

We took a snorkel tour here and the roped off area felt very safe to swim without running into all of the tour boats. The water felt colder here than in other places, though.

At the risk of sounding like a snob, this beach is ok but nothing special. Visitors (non-hotel guests) are definitely treated like lower class citizens, even having separate bathrooms. However we were one of the lucky ones to get one of the four thatched umbrellas...More

This beach is at the resort. There is visitor parking just before you enter the resort and it is an easy walk to the beach. You can rent chairs/umbrella for about $50US. Beach is small but good for snorkeling by the cliffs if you like...More

We rented a car for two days and Anse Chastanet beach was one of the spots we selected to visit. The unpaved road to this resort is filled with crazy pot holes, but with a ton of patience, driving slow and carefully, we made it...More

Pros: Anse Chastanet beach is beautiful, and Jade Mountain does a wonderful job accommodating both hotel guests and visitors. There are bathrooms, a restaurant, a scuba shop, a boutique and more. The beach chairs are a extremely reasonable fee of $12 USD a chair or...More

Stopped here as part of our Endless Summer catamaran day trip. Got to snorkel for about a half hour, but could have stayed for 2 hours for sure. Large rocks, large fish and clear water made it a primo spot. The only thing we DIDN’T...More

This is still our go-to beach for snorkeling but on a bad day it can become quite crowded by large groups from cruise ships. One possibility would be to escape round the corner to the newly opened Anse Mamin. We haven't tried it yet but...More

The road in is rough but not too bad. You park right near the security gate then just walk in down the road to the beach. Signs constantly remind you that since you are not a paying guest you are not allowed to leave the...More

Walking down, about 10-15 minutes. I don't advise walking back up though. Use their shuttle service.

It is about an hour and a half drive - not very far but slow because it is mountainous. The beach is at a very fancy resort and anyone can swim there and enjoy the fabulous accessible coral. You can take a boat there from... More
