This is one of the most beautiful beach area, however it is a public beach so beware of the people trying to sell you their trinkets, horse back riding, but is it more of a walk with them holding the rings. Also a lot of...More
Really nice absolutely lovely beach unfortunately at night time you take your life in your hands walking down there on your own you will be offered during the day selection of prostitutes and drugs there is a lot of plastic in the water and it’s...More
The beach is very clean & walkable for miles. Enjoy the soft sand either with or without shoes, as you allow the water to slosh over your feet. The only downfall is the constant solicitors that partake in sales of trinkets & ganja!!
This was my 25th trip to Jamaica and Seven Mile Beach. During last 10 years I've actually stayed on the beach. I absolutely love it! During last trip walked four of the seven miles in the early morning. It's beautiful and relatively peaceful. Folks will...More
Stayed in Montego Bay and traveled on one of the days to Negril. Best decision we have ever made. This beach is wonderful, beautiful sand, clear and warm water.
Saw some beautiful tropical fish and plenty of starfishes while snorkeling.
The only disappointing bit being...More
This beach is beautiful and the sand lovely and soft. Yes you do have the beach vendors walking along it but if you say NO normally they will leave you alone. Great for walking in the early morning before the sun heats up
I am quite surprised to see so many very good reviews. The beach is nice, don't get me wrong, but it's simple, not anything worth mentioning on any top list of best beaches. Maybe if that is the only place you went to and you...More

Breakfast is included - You really don't want to do all inclusive in Jamaica. I did twice and there is NO Jamaica vibe and charm. Loved the freedom in Negril. Small places, great people, fun and the prices won't kill you... More

The main All Inclusive hotels along the seven mile beach all have direct access to the beach. At one end you have Hotel Riu which is next to Hedonism. Coming along towards downtown Negril you have Sandals Negril. A little further down you will find Beaches Negril ( Sandalls owned ) best for family’s. Next door to Beaches is Couples Negril.
Past Couples and you enter to little independent hotels amongst hostels etc. As said below it does depend on your travelling needs. Is it adults only? Will you be taking the kids? If it was adults only then Sandals is your upmarket overpriced one. However I have friends who swear by Couples resort and they are significantly cheaper than sandals. If your taking the kids I would personally recommend Beaches Negril. Again for a cheaper alternative the Riu will work. All the hotels made the beach wider so you should have a private part to enjoy. At Beaches they have security monitoring the locals selling. If your not interested and they persist the security would move them on. In any case once your on the beach you will truly enjoy!!
