This old fort was built to assist in a war effort...however by the time it was completed the war was over! you are so high up, you get a sweeping view of a number of parishes and the new Parliament building.
For all the forts in Grenada, Fort Frederick was still standing with no bricks falling down. The fort was intact and they gave lots of explanations.

If you are experiencing health issues I suggest you dont walk up this Fort.. the walk is long and steep..but the view from on top is wonderful.. great photo options.. alot of history to Grenada at this Fort.
We went on a guided taxi tour of the whole island and a stop here was included. $2 US PER person admission, easy enough to walk around with some signs describing the fort. Great views of St George's and the island.
