This was a great quick tour of the facilities of this ancient rum distillery. The guide was very friendly and we saw all the processes of what goes into making rum. We also got to taste their different strengths at the end. Would highly recommend...More

Not much of an attraction to visit but interesting to see how rum is made in an ancient rum distillery. A tour was on offer for 5EC but I couldn't see the purpose of it as the distillery is pretty much open and you can...More

It's amazing how old this place is and that they still use the same process with very little automation. Makes me question drinking the rum though! The vats and everything are REALLY old!

Our visit to the River Antoine Rum Distillery was the best part of the tour. Not only do they use the River in their beginning and ending processes but they use natural yeast from the air in their fermentation process. Be sure to buy lots...More

We had a guide that explained everything how to make rhum. We followed her and learned how they made this rhu,. They use a lot of water and a lot of fire. They have to inspect that it is not too harsh. At the end,...More

Great piece of history in Grenada, amazing to see it still in operation with equipment from the 1800s. Very friendly staff provide a personalized tour and are very proud of the work they do.

Our reviewer was very charming and eloquent, describing each stage of the rum making process. They still use very ancient techniques to process their rum. Then you get to taste some rum at the end of the tour. I did not find the rum to...More

I love visiting distilleries around Caribbeans - you always! see something new or learn something new; here is no different although the "new" is the true oldschool way of producing rum/rhum and that's something pretty much impossible to come across in the modern days (or...More

The appeal of this distillery is that the actual process is based on old fashioned methods, so it is very different to the more modern distilleries. Still at work is the original large water wheel providing the power for the cane crusher. A knowledgeable guide...More

I think I paid USD $7 for a small bottle of rum with chocolate for putting over ice cream.
