The title says it all. Location beautiful, but o o o o, what a mess a mess. Stay away a few hundred metres and you ll love the view of it from a big distance.

Especially if you are heading towards the tugboat beach it is worth a stop since it is literally on the same road! You can climb up to the top and see the view of the capital!

A little off the beaten path, and a bit of an odd area, but the old fort is wonderful and great fun to explore.

We actually did not get out of the car here as we were not sure if we were in the right place as there were no signs and no people around except for the security guard that came by. It is isolated with poor roads.

Fascinating architecture and history and huge Saguaro cacti rising out of cliffs. You can take great photos. But it is windy up on the tower, so hold on.

Was nice to see that so much of this fort still remains, So many old forts or ruins are hard to understand or make out because are so far gone to enjoy. Had a great view of the bay. Easy to find.

You will need a car or motorcycle to get there from the cruise port. It is easy but not close. Do go snorkeling at the beach by the warf while there. It is well worrh the snorkeling.
