A very beautiful spot with pretty waterfalls but closed to swimming to the public. Thankfully we had visited Haleakala summit 2 days before so our entrance receipt got us in to the park at Kipahulu. If we had spent $25 to get into that park...More

This is a short trail/hike from the car park to the pools. The trail has a lot of history of an old settlement. Great descriptions of the settlement/buildings and well worth it. The trail is flat and easy to walk. The trail is a loop...More

Take time to relax in the pools watching the waterfalls. Nature provides the best spa experience sometimes and Ohe'o Gulch does just that!

The road is deteriorating and road slides are causing narrowing of road. It is a scary trip as you look behind you and see roadway sliding to thousands of feet below. I don’t see Hana road being accessible much longer it’s very dangerous with road...More

The Roaring enchantment of the falls clears the mind and leaves one with very little distractions except those thought meandering in the brain. The beauty of this place is refreshing!!

I've stopped calling this place the seven sacred falls because that's such a lie. Don't drive out to Hana just to see this place, but if you've come this far and have the time, you might as well stop to see it. It's part of...More

Along the route were many waterfalls. Most of the ones that allow swimming have small parking lots nearby.
