Potrero beach is a dark sand beach, great for walking from end to end, it’s at least a mile. Las Brisas restaurant, and Beach House, are two great places for lunch or dinner, one at each end. It is usually a lightly populated beach, and...More

Always a great place for either quality beach time or for hanging around the multiple restuarants or bars near by.

Beautiful beach, great apartments to rent by the day or week, restaurants close by. I go there at least once every other year for the past 50 years. Obviously I like it.

Long and uncrowded, grey sand beach was clean except for ever-present dogs - at least they were friendly. Shade was sparse for the easily sunburned folks; lounge chairs were equally sparse. Occasional paths through vacant lots allowed access for those who were not staying in...More

This beach is fabulous and very quiet when we were there. Not many facilities on the beach and very uncluttered. You can walk for a mile or so and feel that you have it to yourself. Great to watch the pelicans fishing as well.
