If you wanna take a day trip from muscat you can visit this and Wadi shab. Here you have to take a approximately 45-60min hike trough the canyon! But it’s worth it and take your bathing suit!

Go to the very end of the road (4WD recommended) and park where you can. Some boys will appear from nowhere and will propose to guide you to the waterfall. Bargain and go with them. Easy treck, regular shoes are enough. Plan an hour and...More

You must know that you have to climb the road for 30 minutes to reach the waterfalls which are gorgeous ! But this road is very very narrow and abrupt. You definitely need a 4WD and a healthy heart to go there. At the end...More

Wadi Tiwi was much quieter than Wadi Shab, with decent roads, but certainly needing a 4x4 and a competent, experienced driver, and perhaps a guide or someone with good local knowledge of the routes. The Wadi is lovely and peaceful, with stunning views and some...More

The way to get to the village of Mibam, where this stunning Wadi Tiwi is, means driving in the mountains. You NEED a 4WD and there is a good road but it’s going to be bumpy and steep sometimes. And sometimes tricky when another car...More

Very beautiful place and well maintained, roads. From highway when you turn to wadi, the roads are narrow, so careful with your speed. The village have a great view from express highway.

It is free. But I would recommend to go with a local or with a guide. There are no signs on where to go down to Wadi Tiwi from the parking place. You need to first walk into the village and find the stairs. The people there... More
