The history within the house and grounds is spectacular. My favorites were the original lazy-boy and using and authentic Crapper! The beautifully restored early 1900s train will take you to a viewpoint of the town and ocean. Taste their rum and browse local crafts/gifts. I...More

Took a quick tour of the house.. interesting items in there! Then we were given history on the rum and samples of course. Bought a beautiful bottle of rum for a gift and they hand engraved a message for us. Beautiful property!

The tour was really informative, and we really enjoyed watching the videos and touring the house. The rum tasting was amazing, and Simon Warren was INCREDIBLE, loved the tasting with him, he made it so fun! Thank you, Simon!

Beautiful house & gardens that really give you a feel of a past period of Barbados history which I didn’t see anywhere else on the island. Shame there are really only 3 rooms to look at. But there’s also an Interesting small batch rum business...More

We found the tour very informative and Simon was excellent on the rum tasting side. It is a shame that you cannot go upstairs in the house any more due to Health and Safety issues and insurance problems. So downstairs there is only 3 rooms...More

We'd planned to spend a whole afternoon here as we'd visited before for the tour and seen the lovely little terrace cafe at the back of the shop and tasting area. We were delighted as the day turned out to completely exceed all expectations! We...More

Very well organised and laid out. Tours of house are timed and accompanied by lovely guide and very informative, Possibly a few too many in group with over 20, finishes with rum tasting, which we skipped. Once finished in the house you are free to...More

All I can say is that the view is spectacular! During our tour we started at the top and worked our way down to the shore. Once at the bottoms we stopped and spoke to the locals who where fishing for sea urchins. Some in...More

We did this by ourselves and enjoyed. yet still got a wonderful tour with history and talked to the workers, which was way more interesting with the one on one. The testing was excellent. The house and gardens are wonderful.

The place is relatively small. I got the feeling people came and left in an hour. We took a much more relaxed approach; we were lucky to jump straight into a tour, then wandered into the taste session then onto the veranda... More
