It was small, nothing there, old, dirty! It took us 10min to walk in & out! There was nothing to see there, just the temple that could use some cleaning & upkeep.

This was a very beautiful temple near Golden Gai that we visited early in the morning while it was still empty, it was gorgeous.

Will always recommend anyone to visit more smaller shrines and this one is no different, strange to think this peaceful place is a 5 minute walk from busy Shinjuku!

This is an Inari shrine located just a short walk from Shinjuku's infamous "Golden Gai". The grounds house the main shrine as well as two small sub-shrines (Itoku Inari and Geino Asano), and has traditionally been associated with entertainers and performers. While I've read that...More

Not very big but no crowds either. There was a flea market on the Sunday we went, bought a lot of unique stuff! I got some great pictures with the cherry blossoms there also.

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and
contains the busiest train station in the world. To
the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo

east, there’s a district with long-established
department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku
Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the
