This trip is designed to give you all the freedom you wish to discover Zia on your own terms. The minibus will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to its center. You will enjoy discovering the village by yourself, at your own pace, without a guide. Zia is an enchanting little village that lies at the base of Mount Dikeos, the highest mountain of Kos island, that culminates at 846m above sea level. The village has kept its traditional feel and has become one of the major tourist attractions of the island. Here you wiall find many little shops selling local products, arts and crafts. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you will enjoy to sip your drink or dine on a romantic terrace while admiring the most beautiful sunset on Kos. We recommend you to try the famous delicious homemade lemonade served everywhere. You will have approximately 2 and a half hours free time.

          Beautiful Relaxing Day 😊
Amazing boat trip, really authentic boat. The crew were brilliant and really friendly took group photos for us. The islands of Vathis and Pserimos were beautiful and had plenty of time at both. The jumping off the boat at Plati was really fun and sea was beautiful. Lunch was included which was ok, a few different choices and overall great value for money. We included the pick up and drop off which was well worth it. Only issue would be if you don’t like being in the sun all day is there were only about 12 ish seats on the boat where there was shade ( we were on the Karoline) so get on it early if you want the shady seats

          Sun, Sulphur & Salads
We visited early June as you would expect very hot so make sure to bring water - although you can grab one on the boat or at the restaurant right by the volcano. Boat trip is about an hour and a half both ways with lots of seating so that’s great We was picked up from our hotel and dropped off on the way back. This is great considering it would’ve cost €40-50 for us just to get there and back! Once you get to the island you are loaded onto your coach with guides that will give you roughly 30mins of a guided tour (this is how long it takes to get to the volcano once you get to the island) You are only given 45mins to an hour to view and walk down (if you are brave enough) There is a shaded cafe at the top with lovely drinks and some souvenirs should you wish to remember your day out. Once you are done here you are loaded back into coaches and back down to the harbour (again about 30mins) You are the. Given a guided tour through the centre of the island. We was guided to a restaurant where we sat with lovely scenery and great food. Nice and quiet so we all got great seats. You are then given 2-3 hours to explore the island and shops before jumping back on the boat to head back to Kos. Really great value & cannot fault.

          Would recommend!
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and it was very easy to travel (the pick up, transfer ferry and coach round Nisyros). The volcano and crater were beautiful and the climb to/from was not too bad. If warm weather, be careful as a heat trap! Would recommend as lovely day out and very interesting island. Thanks to Marta for her tour!

A lovely whistle-stop tour of the islands!
This is not the film version, catamaran, moden boat scenario. This is the boat/pirate ship that you see in Kos Marina scenario. This is not leisurely sun bathing, sipping cocktails ride, more a ferry type experience with plastic glasses of pre made drinks. The sea was glorious, the islands cute and one of my friends did jump over board in to the azure water and loved it! The food was beyond basic. For the price, it is worth it. But bring your own bag of cans and you'll fit right in!

Good but need more beds to lie down on
The trip was very good for the money paid. Managed to see some dolphins which was a bonus. Nice places to visit and the swim stop very much appreciated as was very hot in the sun. The only let down is they don’t have enough beds to lie down on. Had to sit down all of the trip and the boat was packed.

Best 3 island boat tour ever
What an amazing day we had with the crew on the Poseidon! I have done a similar boat trip in the past but this one was just the best experience and topped the previous tour by miles. Free pick up and drop off to our hotel even tho it wasn’t on the list. A simple message to ask if they would collect from our hotel and it was no problem at all. Friendly greetings by the crew when we got there. When we got to the fish farm I noticed that our boat stayed around longer than many of the other boats that were doing the same trip. We stayed until we had seen the dolphins, we were there a good 20 mins whilst other boats spent about 5mins in passing. The food we received at the restaurant was the best meal I had of my holiday! Ariel the mermaid is the best host on a boat I have ever met. She got people up dancing even when the water was super choppy they all carried on entertaining us with her dance routines! We had a lovely chat with her about where she originates from and her future ambitions as a broadway singer. Emilia I wish you all the luck in the world with this but I hope to still see you on the boat when I come back! I cannot pick one bad thing to say about this day experience. The price is really cheap for the day, drinks on board were not over priced and it was a really enjoyable day out.

          A boat trip to paradise
We departed from the port of Kos at around 0930 and arrived back at around 1700. The whole trip was fantastic, great service and well organized. Our favourite of the 3 destinations was "Miami Beach" (Pserimos Beach), a paradise beach with all sand shallow water and restaurants/bars practically on the beach. If anything, the only "complaint" would be that we would like to stay a little longer at each destination - but that would mean that they would either have to reduce the number of locations, or prolong the trip. Great service and care from the team on the boat - we highly recommend this!

          Well worth a visit
The park was lovely and clean, The slides and wave pool were excellent. Unfortunately my daughter cut her mouth, the action of the stewards and all involved was exemplary. Thank you for all your help.

          Truly Unique Day Out
Top tip - Bring plenty of your own water! Trip was great, got both picked up and dropped off at our hotel. After a short ferry we was sorted onto coaches where we then spent 40 or so mins at the site of the Volcano. (Entry fee is 5€ and not included) After that you get a return coach to the main port of Nisyros for a short guided tour of the area. You then have about 2.5-3 hours to explore and eat at your own leisure which we enjoyed. The souvenir shops was nice offering mainly items made from obsidian from the island along with generic magnets and post cards etc. At times it was extremely difficult to hear what the guide was saying like what times to be at places, but she was really friendly and would help if you needed her to repeat something.

          Good little day out
It's clean and lots to do. The first cafe near the kids place took around 30 minutes to cook a pizza, not ideal when you have young children! The water is just perfect. Plenty to do for all ages. Lifeguards around the complex. Wave pool was a massive win!

Hugely overcrowded which ruined the experience. As soon as you step off the coach you are accosted by shopkeepers desperate to pull you in.
The worst part was that there was not a single front line table for dinner in any of the restaurants. Every one had been ‘reserved’ I suspect for those who were on a ‘package’ holiday. We were not and paid €12 each for the coach. Booked through a tour agency but was not told we would have a ‘back seat’ table. Restaurant staff in 3 different restaurants were borderline rude with a ‘couldn’t care less you’re just a tourist’ attitude so we walked out.
Eventually found a small cafe opposite the wall and the owner was extremely friendly, we had a front seat and great service.
When the sun set, which wasn’t great (Mother Nature doesn’t always perform) people were pushing and jostling each other for endless selfies.
Finally 10 (or more) coaches lined up in the main narrow street to take people back. What an absolute nightmare!! Our coach was eighth from the front. We waited for ages whilst all the coaches in front had checked in the right number of people. Absolutely astonished at the number of people who didn’t know what number coach they arrived on!! ………yes, trying to get on any coach, absolute hell and ruined the evening.
Not worth the trip, money or hanging around in a line of coaches waiting for idiots.
Zia is actually a beautiful little village up in the mountains. Unfortunately it has been ruined with endless shops selling cheap tat. What a shame. It would be far nicer to have a few shops and restaurants and see the village for its quaintness.

Zia village is in a beautiful setting up in the mountains surrounded by pine forest. Reminded us of myas in Southern Spain.
Local driver picked us up at an arranged time and location near our hotel at Dolphin Square( many pick ups arranged there, so can be confusing which exact point around edge of the Square ( actually a big roundabout ; we had arranged at the waterfront side) The company confirmed trip with pick up details via Whats App message.
We travelled up to Zia in an extremely comfortable Mercedes Minivan. The Driver very pleasant. Met some lovely people travelling with us who were picked up at several stops along the way.
Very pleasant drive up about 45 mins.
The visit allows 3 hrs approx in evening, the driver arranged to meet back where we were dropped off at 9 pm.
We walked around and further up the roads taking us higher up the village. We came across a nature reserve entrance. Walked back to main road which became very busy around Sunset as coach loads of tourists arrived to enjoy the view.
We waited at the low wall along the road at a bend with clear view.
Afterwards explored along the main road with plenty shops, cafes, take- aways to get snacks and drinks.
Also were numerous restaurants sited at different levels and sides of village, many with stunning views
We would definitely recommend an evening visit. If we go back to Kos, we would even visit Zia earlier in the day to explore the nature reserve and explore for longer with an evening meal, too.

Requested English guide and yes driver spoke English, the tour began to go downhill when we collect a group of 4 German speaking passengers. the English speaking pretty much stopped unless we asked what was being said. There was an opportunity at one point the tour guide could have put us in the car with the fluent English driver and passengers but didn’t. Not sure what information along the drive was being shared in German to review. It made a long drive up the winding terrain longer and disappointing. Dinner was good however they may ask to separate you, just say no if you want to sit together. We sat with a lovely English speaking couple and made new friends. There are also shops within steps of your restaurant we didn’t know about and saw this as we drove out. Consolation-the nice chat with our new friends! Our driver was courteous, but overall, it would have made a huge difference if the guide was able to share info to a mixed group effectively and inform us of the area Zia and when to utilize free time. This may have been a great tour for the group of 4 we shared the car with but for us it not so much. No connection.

First book a 'sunset' table in a restaurant with a good view - you will need to book weeks in advance. Second, arrive early and Third , prepare to be disappointed - I have seen better sunsets over Sidcup - honest I have. It is all over rated. There are a lot of touristy shops mostly selling the usual tat. Some of the restaurants are quite good some not so.

Driver was on time and efficient. Zia is beautiful but does get busy around the sunset. If you have a specific restaurant in mind and are wanting to eat whilst the sun is going down I’d recommend booking but we ate slightly earlier and were fine. We ate at taverna Avli and the food was great and reasonably priced.

A very good service to transfer us to Zia and back. We were picked up outside of our accomodation (in our case this 17.50) with return at 21.00. Being very picky, an extra half hour would give plenty of time to wander around aswell as eat, although it may have the case with us that we enjoyed the restaurant we booked so much, that we savoured all of the time there.
The price is very reasonable for the transfer, totally recommend still for the time we had (got to Zia around 18.20).

I went to Zia on an arranged tour, and arrived in good time, my advise is get there as early as possible because the best placed for photos get snapped up quickly. If you want lunch prior or during sunset booking ahead is a must. We did not and could not get a seat anywhere until after the sunset, by which time there are plenty of spaces to eat. My top tip if you are travelling to Zia on a tour is get of the bus, bag a good spot , photograph the sunset and then look at the shops and get something to eat don't delay in getting your photo spot. On my visit it was very cloudy so the sunset was not brilliant, but nevertheless it was a lovely evening which we thoroughly enjoyed.

It was a sunset with an awful amount of tourists gathering around to watch so it was super busy and getting in the way. There are a few restaurants but after the coach bus I did not feel well so had a Greek salad. Some restaurants have seating where the view would be seen which would be more comfortable and less crowded but these would need to be booked.

The sunset was stunning and Zia is a lovely touristy village but it was too crowded. Coaches were constantly bringing more and more people in and were struggling to navigate the crowded narrow street. All the restaurants were filled to capacity and we waited an hour for our food to be served in the taverna we chose. It arrived 10 minutes before we were due to get back on our minibus, which unfortunately did spoil the evening somewhat.

I was sold the trip on seeing the sunset and pretty village with its handmade lace and shops selling traditional spices.

We were dropped off by the coach and told to be back at 9pm. However, there really isn’t anything to do in Zia. The shops were mostly just tourist shops that you find in Kos with some selling fake designer brands. Also, in my opinion not a very pretty village.

We managed to get a table with sunset view but I don’t believe others were so ‘lucky’. Most tables were already reserved when we got there. The staff were friendly and welcoming at first but once we sat down they were not attentive and seemed unable to cope with the volume of customers. We asked for bread with our drinks which didn’t come. We waited for an hour and a half to receive any food. No offer to buy more drinks either, Our mains followed our starters almost immediately apart from my sons meal that never came. I did manage to hunt down a member of staff and complain. Yet, no explanation, no apology and no food. So I asked to pay but without my sons meal and she said it’s coming this was way over half an hour after we had finished. I paid for it in the end but if I had been at home I would have walked out after the first round of drinks. The food that arrived was mediocre too.

The sunset was beautiful and we did manage to get some lovely photos that’s why I’ve scored it two otherwise it would have been zero,
