It was a great experience! The staff were all friendly. They provide bug spray which was great as those mosquitoes were vicious. The moon was very bright when we went and I appreciated that the your guides brought a tarp to cover us with to allow it to be dark enough to see the

Response from PAowner, Owner at Bio Bay Kayak Tour in Fajardo
Responded 06 Sep 2019
Hello everyone! Thank you very much for reading our response. I am writing my response a little late because it took me quite sometime to try to understand any positive reason for this guest to do what he does. Still can't find any. When our guests arrive for the Bio Bay tours, our guides has two major goals with them, FUN and SAFETY. With that in mind, when offering the safety briefing, our guides use a humorous language while maintaining a respectful, educational and fun atmosphere. The situation he described in which he splashed the guide was a turning point after 20 minutes of dealing with his attitude and behavior. Since he was part of a big group, the guides and the host where trying to respectfully work with the guest to maintain a nice environment and not ruin everyone else’s experience. Nevertheless, when the guests were finally getting into the kayaks to paddle out for the tour, this guest started splashing the guide with his oar in front of everyone. When the guide asked him to stop, he ignored the request and kept doing it. The guides decided that his disrespectful behavior was not appropriate for the group and tour, so they asked him to come back and get off of the kayak. His response was to paddle out quickly to get away from having to do it. They (guides) went after him to get his kayak back to the shore. His partner begged them for a second opportunity and apologized on his behalf. The guides decided to give him an opportunity with the compromise of behaving, to what he agreed. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He and others from his group continued showing a very bad behavior, but the guides could not let the group behind to take them back because they were too far inside the reserve already. It was an absolute challenge to maintain this guest and his group from ruining the rest of the guest’s experience; however, the guides made a marvelous job and the other guests were very grateful for their effort and outstanding performance while dealing with this kind of situation. At the end, this guests went straight to the host, asked for a brochure, then told her that he was going to write a nice review (in a very sarcastic tone). It is very disappointing to read this kind of review in which the clear intention is to damage others without any plausible justification. Thank you all for your support. We are here to assist you and we would love to share our adventures with you. Respectfully, Yolanda Ramos Marine Biologist-Owner PURE ADVENTURE

My family booked this tour last minute and they were very responsive via text and email and accommodated all 7 members of our group. There are over a dozen different tour groups and they take roughly the same route but we really liked our guides. They worked hard to make sure
