      Highly recommend this tour!
Love a good history walking tour and love supporting a female entrepreneur! You can accomplish both in Providence with the delightful "Parasols and Pocket Watches" tour of Benefit Street. This was the perfect way to orient ourselves to the city and get some context about its history the day we arrived. Benefit St. is beautiful, and the insight and stories shared by our guide helped us appreciate our surroundings even more! I also appreciated how thoughtful our guide was about safety, alerting us to uneven sidewalks--this was a huge help for my mom, who has some mobility issues. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Providence who'd like to learn a little more about its history while visiting one of the most beautiful streets in the city.

      Amazing Tour!!!!
Parasol and pocket watches: a history tour, was absolutely a phenomenal tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, answered all of our questions, cared about our safety and well-being, took as many photos of her and our surroundings as we wanted, and she even gave us a keepsake gift that was on par with the theme. An amazing touch to the event!! I would highly recommend this tour for all of the history that you will learn. The guide will deliver this information in an educational and fun way.

      Providence Has Secrets
As a visitor to Providence, I was curious about the history of the city. Courtney made history come alive on the tour. She offered exclusive interesting facts that one would not find in a history book but rather it felt like you were reading an old diary from the 1800's, exposing some personal stories from this era, including secrets you would never know about Edgar Allan Poe for example. Courtney's passion for history and the preservation of Providence was evident during our time together.

Very enjoyable stroll on Benefit Street. Our tour guide was dressed for the part. She was very knowledgeable and well informed. Not only about the buildings but the people too.

Great way to spend a morning and step back in time.
This tour was fun and informative. Our guide had so many exciting stories, which made it very entertaining. It differed from some tours, where the guide checks notes for each stop. It also ties history to today, and you can see the impact of the people and places that she talked about on the current city.

      Fantastic historical narratives!
I had a really great time on this tour—the guide had unique and interesting stories from multiple centuries for various houses and buildings along Benefit Street. You learn about the founders and the Brown family and others into the late 1900s. The costume just added to it all! Highly recommend!

Great way to appreciate the history packed into an iconic Providence street
We had 3 generations together for this fabulous tour - and learned so much in the space of 90 mins. There is truly so much interesting history to Benefit St and our guide did an incredible job weaving together interesting stories that only scratched the surface of her knowledge. She has clearly put a tremendous amount of work into the research and narration that made the time fly. It was fascinating to understand the street's lasting impact on our world and city. I'd highly recommend for anybody who lives in Providence or has the opportunity to visit!

Our guide Kelly began the tour with enthusiasm and humor and never stopped providing us with this great energy. She didn't just provide facts or stories in a dull way but made it an experience at every stop she made. Seriously, we would take the tour again just for her. The tour was so insightful to the history of Providence, its ghostly phenomena and the culture that it made it a unique, fun way to learn a new city. 10/10 recommend.

The Parasols and Pocket Watches tour was so much fun! Cortney was our tour guide and taught us about Rhode Island history through wonderful storytelling. She was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer our many questions. Her delivery was fantastic in that she really drew you into the stories of some of the early families that left Massachusetts to settle in what is now Providence. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour. Kelly was our tour guide and she was very animated, dressed to the part with a black witches dress and very informative. She even showed us pictures at the end of actual sightings from past tours. I would definitely recommend and also make sure Kelly is your guide!!

I’ve been on ghost tours from Salem, Mass to Catalina Island and just about everywhere in between. Providence ghost tours was hands down the best I’ve been on. Kelly was an amazing purveyor of wonder, story teller, and poetry reciter I’ve ever had the fortune of following.

My fiancé’s sister and her fiancé came to visit from KS and we decided that we wanted to do a ghost tour to keep the trip fun, but low key. We had done one in Boston and had a blast so we figured we would give this a try… WE LOVED IT (even more than our Boston tour). I’ve lived here for about 8 years and felt like I got a new look at PVD.
Courtney was fantastic! She was so kind and very good at storytelling. Each location felt like it was important and the stories seemed so grounded. We appreciated how much respect Courtney had for the people who shared their stories with her and team.
The views were great and walking felt comfortable, not too much. It even drizzled a little and we didn’t mind at all. We’re all in our 20s and had a great time!! We all would’ve paid more for it because it’s great, but appreciated that it’s so affordable!!

Even though I have worked all throughout Providence, I have neve come across this park and always wondered where the Roger Williams Memorial was located. Many pictures online offer good clues observing the city scape. Never looked further into it but alas, that is where this Ghost Tour started. Our guide was Kellie. She was fun and knowledgeable. Really seemed to like her job even when it was only about 30 degrees. The price was reasonable and the tour was great. Nice to see a side of Providence you cant see when driving.

We enjoyed our tour with Cait. She was a wonderful storyteller and all of the stories were so interesting. Not only did we enjoy the ghost stories, but we learned history of the area and saw buildings at RISD, Brown, and the general area that were incorporated into the stories. We enjoyed the evening walk but someone that has mobility issues may want to think twice since there is a fair amount of walking on the tour and involves some hills.

Ghost Tour guide "Kelly" was absolutely entertaining and fascinatingly knowledgeable about the history of Providence. I enjoyed that the sites had significant paranormal incidents that were clearly connected to the history of the sites here in Providence and in very important parts of history. It was very family friendly and and everyone was very entertained as I was. This is a must for everyone visiting Providence, and I will definitely go again when I return. :)

A fun and informative tour of old haunted Providence. Our guide was entertaining and engaging. The stories and histories were well presented and easy to hear, and the scope of presentation was well selected. The pace was comfortable, and our guide spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear. Additional points for the gorgeous black dress our guide wore. Whether you believe in ghosts are not, this tour is fun, historic, and a wonderful way to spend an October evening.
