What to Expect

This tour, which covers about two miles on foot in roughly 3.5 hours, stops at seven local eateries. Try a range of Southern fare, including soul food, barbecue, Lowcountry, and Creole dishes. Stops may include Smoke Ring, Just Add Honey Tea Company, and Miss D's Pralines. You can also sample an alcoholic beverage.

It’s not just about food. Your guide connects Southern food to the city’s rich history. Learn about the role the city’s restaurants played in the Civil Rights Movement, among other historical tidbits.

Your tour ends at Sweet Auburn Curb Market.

Great time on Atlanta Food tour

We did the 3 1/2 hour tour starting at Paschals. Margaret is a fantastic host and did a great job! The portions were generous and well-spaced out. We learned a lot of history walking from one end of Downtown to the other.

I wouldn’t recommend this tour for him. On this particular tour you do a lot of walking and it’s a steady pace.
