Learn the history behind the active volcano from your guide
Traveling with a guide means avoiding the hassle of Seattle driving
Option to add snowshoe or sled trip when conditions allow
What to expect
Meet a guide at your Seattle hotel, and then travel to Mount Rainier National Park, learning a bit about the local area along the way. Pause a the Longmire Museum and National Park Inn, and keep your camera out at Christine Falls, which frames one of the classic views of Mount Rainier. Walk up the Nisqually River to stand at the foot of Narada Falls—at 188 feet (57 meters), it towers over Niagara Falls. The scenic highlight of the day is Paradise, a visitor center that's surrounded by alpine meadows, ideal for spotting wildlife. From here, you have the option to add a snowshoe or sledding trip if conditions allow, or simply take in the gorgeous views from Reflection Lake. Before returning to Seattle, enter the visitor center to learn the story behind Mount Rainier, and then finish the day with drop-off at your original departure point.

Great trip out of the city
Jun 2021 • Couples
My husband and I knew we wanted to get out of Seattle for a bit on our trip, and we are so glad we did.

Our tour guide was Lucas & he was phenomenal. It was pretty wet the day we went, but he catered the tour because of weather. We saw many waterfalls and the hikes were more than doable for the average person.

If we ever come back we will make sure we request Lucas!

Beautiful Day at Mout Ranier
Jun 2021 • Solo
Had a great day with Lucas as our guide. We first stopped off to pick up coffee and sandwiches which was very helpful. Lucas took us on two hikes and both were amazing. We also stopped at other interesting scenic stops. We had plenty of bathroom breaks and Lucas made sure we always had enough water. He shared interesting history and great stories with us which made the trip very enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

Worth the money
Rain and snow could not damper this trip. The national park is beautiful. Appreciated the ease of pick up at hotel and drop off. Plenty of bathroom stops and was able to pick up food and snacks. Water was provided. Entertaining local guide named Lucas - answered all your questions about living in the area. Wear appropriate shoes - hiking, water resistant shoes and bring a rain jacket.

Great Rainier day trip!
Jun 2021
This is a great tour that shows all of the must-see spots in Rainier! Lucas was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the park, and would stop at lesser known spots for us to check out. We had great weather and were able to hike around Paradise in the snow with a great view of Rainier. I would definitely recommend, especially if you're visiting without a car or even if you're traveling alone like I was.
