Set off by foot to explore this neighborhood known for its stately southern mansions and wide avenues framed by lush greenery. See different architectural styles and learn about the history of New Orleans, from the Louisiana Purchase through the Civil War and Great Depression.
Visit some of the Garden District’s departed residents at the Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, one of the oldest and most famous graveyards in New Orleans. That's a pretty big group for 1 tour guide. Frankly, I'd split the group between 2 guides if possible.
