Good experience. Not enough time in Oak Alley but it was fine. Thank you to Emicka, our great bus driver who explained us a lot of things about NOLA. She was funny and the trip was better with her :)
Tour both Oak Alley and Laura Plantation in one convenient trip, with transportation between the two and helpful hotel pickup and drop-off (at select New Orleans hotels) included. Stroll the plantations’ grounds with a group of like-minded travelers to gain a better understanding for this era of American history. You’ll learn about a woman-owned plantation, see 300-year-old oak trees, and view slave quarters with your guide.
Your Oak Alley Plantation and Laura Plantation tour from New Orleans starts with a hotel pickup at select downtown New Orleans hotels. Board a minibus, and enjoy a comfortable ride to the plantations.
Stop at Laura Plantation to explore the 200-plus-year-old sugarcane plantation with your guide. Learn about what life was like there, as well as about the woman who inspired its name. Get the opportunity to walk through the main house, as well as the slave quarters.
Next up is Oak Alley Plantation, which was built in 1839. Gaze on the Mississippi River as your guide tells stories from the plantation’s past.
The tour concludes with drop-off at your New Orleans hotel.
