  • Quickly find Marie Laveau’s grave from thousands of headstones

What to Expect
Your tour meets at the corner of Royal and Conti Streets in New Orleans' French Quarter, where your guide first shows you some of the well-known architecture of the area, such as the Creole townhouses and shotgun homes. As you go, your guide shares stories about the city’s rich voodoo history and famous practitioners of the religion such as Marie Laveau. Your guide takes you to St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, one of the city’s oldest cemeteries, which opened in 1789. At the cemetery, see the famous tomb of Laveau, as well as other former voodoo masters. It's often difficult to view the city's cemeteries without a guide, and this tour ensures you'll not only be able to enter quickly, but also find the most interesting tombs. Before your tour ends, see more crypts and mausoleums in the cemetery, pop into a voodoo ritual shop, and stop by Congo Square. Your tour ends in the French Quarter near Jackson Square, and your guide can provide directions back to the starting point or your hotel or recommendations for what to do next.

We had the Spanish female guide, I didn't catch her name and she made the tour very fun. She made the Cemetery tour fun, not just informative. Keep up the good work guys.
