What to Expect
Choose a morning or afternoon departure time at booking, and then make your way to New Orleans’ French Quarter on the day of your trip to exchange your voucher for tickets at the kiosk at Toulouse Street.  Once on board, explore the historic boat's vintage accents, such as the period decorations and the museum-quality engine room. Stroll the decks to take in the Mississippi River scenery and views of the city of New Orleans passing by. For the journey out, find a seat indoors to listen to live jazz in the main dining area, or opt to sit outside for narration on passing historic sites, such as Chalmette Battlefield. The return journey features music throughout the boat. If you opt to upgrade to the lunch option, your journey includes a buffet lunch, made up of traditional New Orleans fare. End up back at your original starting point, with plenty of time left in the day to continue exploring the French Quarter or beyond.

We cruised on Monday March 15. Food was good. The line for the buffet moved fast. The loud speaker was not the best so it was very difficult to hear and understand what was being said. Was kind of expecting to see more of the Mississippi River then just the harbour but what can

This was such a fun cruise. It was very informative and there were so many seats to choose from. I also loved the store and the fully stocked bar if you do not need to eat. This was recommended to me by someone who lived in New Orleans and I am so glad I did it!

We really liked the trip on the steam boat! We went for the dinner cruise! Our waitress was very nice, we had the first sitting and we kind of felt rushed. We got our dinner and it was very tasty! And the dessert bread pudding was very good! The boat ride was very informative.
