I booked this tour for my husband and two close friends via the official website. We were late due to traffic; therefore, I contacted Michael. He informed us that the tour had started; however, contacted me twice to determine where we were located. We were able to locate the group shortly afterward. He was gracious enough to guide us despite being late! Michael was an immensely considerate, humorous, and knowledgeable guide! He exuded passion for the city; furthermore, treated us like family members. We decided to continue strolling the park once the tour ended. He ensured that we did not get lost by offering to contact him if needed. He also provided further directions for us! He contacted me afterward to thank us before sending our photos via email. We truly enjoyed the tour. I would be willing to book private tours if available in the future! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Michael was excellent, funny, full of history, and took the time to take pictures of us at beautiful spots. He included information about many popular movies filmed in the park, which made the tour more enjoyable. He loves doing these tours and it shows. I would strongly recommend his tours wholeheartedly.

Michael was a great host. The tour was fun and engaging and covered a wide range of topics including pop culture, architecture/ landscaping history, plant and animal life. We covered 3 miles in the 2 hour walk and it was great value for money. Michael pointed out things that you would not notice on your own and even took some photos along the way which he shared with us afterwards. Thanks Michael!

My wife and I decided to take the walking tour of CP in hopes to get a little more history and background. We were not disappointed! Our guide, Michael Hunt, was punctual and on point. He was a walking encyclopedia of statues, buildings, plants and stories of what makes CP so unique and special. Michael is an incredible tour guide, and this to tour is well worth your time and your money. My family and I were expecting to get a few nuggets of information and a story or two about movies that were filmed in the park. We absolutely got those, but we learned about the history, the politics of the city, why the design of the park is so extraordinary, and much more, including many photos that Michael took of our family along the way. If you have a particular area of interest, Michael will go deeper into that. You can also just allow him to put you completely at ease as he keeps you entertained with interesting and clever tales for every nook and cranny. Whatever you decide, you’ll be glad he’s your guide as he takes you through this beautiful park. Be sure to think about how warm or cool you like to be, and dress appropriately. You will have a fantastic memory of New York City!
