Bully and verbal violence from the tour guide and the driver
Our tour guide on the last day of our tour in Chicago was Mandy (Chinese name 小红, cell phone ending 0786) and she arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up for the day, which delayed our already tight schedule as we are flying out to New York in the evening. When we were taking off from Holland Village, all passengers in the car (total 6 and we are a family of 3) agreed to send us to the airport first as we are rushing to the airport, the tour guide decided on her own to change the route to drop off the 3 other passengers at Chinatown first. Although I understand her intent, I asked her why she did not informed us in advance as the whole car has been in consensus to send us to the airport first. The driver then threatened us that “since I am holding the driver’s wheel, I am at my own will to drop you anywhere”. After clarifying that I thought the best approach would be to inform is properly, the tour guide said: “sue me! Fire me if you can!” and the driver even made us terrified by saying: “shall we stop the car and have a fight?” Obviously these two were bullying us as vulnerable tourists as we were sitting in the car and had no say in where they brought us. We were just demanding a proper explanation and maybe a sincere apology but instead we were treated with verbal violence and threat. We felt extremely scared and insulted at the same time. Also another doubt became conscious to me as Mandy the tour guide mentioned that she has come the the US with a tourist visa and I wonder how she can work as a tour guide. It also drew my attention to how little she knows about America and how stereotypical she portrayed the US (by saying that many African Americans are just homeless and robbers, and targeted Chinese American as victims, which I found it very offensive). However we are just un-informed tourists and do not know the proper way to let more people know about this situation and make things right. If you know a way, please let me know!

Nice
We just got back from this tour today... Ken, our tour guide, had a great sense of humor and along with his jokes and facts, made the tour enjoyable. Although the schedule was really cramped, Ken’s time management was exceptional, and made the cramped schedule seem not that much of a big deal. Do recommend this tour... beautiful attractions, great tour guide, and adequate time at each attraction. Side note (s) 1.most lunches are asian buffet places, but there are other places around. 2. If you get Ken as a tour guide, he has a fun quiz on the last day on the way back to New York and your could win free souvenirs from the attractions... (I managed to get the black bear plush keychain from great smoky mountain)

Boris, the tour guide was a professional from the beginning to the end of the trip. He maintained group harmony with humor, patience, and knowledge of locations. I would highly recommend Boris to future travelers and I hope that I will be fortunate to have him when I book another tour. The driver of the bus must also be commended for his excellent driving skills. Please share this with Tours4Fun.

A Journey ONLY for Chinese
It was our second time with tours4fun, the first time (tour 4 days Canada) we got a fantastic guide (VICKY) that made the schedules so tight to visit the cities were more enjoyable. However, this time with the SIMON guide, it was a horrible experience and not recommended at all. When we got on the bus, we decided to book only one excursion as we were not interested in the others and preferred to see the city for ourselves, so the guide got mad at us for being students and not being able to pay the $130. From that moment on, he began to treat us as if we were not part of the group. To those of us who had not paid for the excursion, he would tell us an hour to get back to the bus and yet, they took more than half an hour to show up. In addition, all meals and stops were prepared for Asians, as we always stopped in Chinatown in every city we went to, which limited our time and the possibility of choosing where to have lunch or dinner. Finally, we saw a bad organization of time to do the activities since the first day, being the Boston excursion, we were only in the city 1h, which was for dinner. Because of all this, we were very dissatisfied and dissatisfied with this excursion to Boston, since the guide and the organization that was taken to do the activities.

Rude tour guide.
Me and my family went to a 2 days Niagara falls tour from NYC. Overall, the journey was good but the tour guide's behavior towards my family ruined our whole vacation. Tour guide named Lillian was very rude to my parents. I don't know if she's racist but she was very friendly with her own kind , but the exact opposite to us. She looked like she was forced to do the job. She was not friendly and never had a smile on her face. Even, when we reached Niagara falls, she was walking way ahead of the whole group instead of leading us. I even noticed she was yelling at other passengers in the bus as well, which is very unprofessional. I hope you guys hire tour guide's who is professional and love their job.

8 Day NY and Niagara Falls
Horrible experience, third world tour in a First World country, assigned a number by our Chinese guide who refused to learn our names, perhaps as English was not a language she spoke. We were given a derelict tour bus with a Chinese driver We were unable to understand guide who googled information then was unable to understand what was fact,so quite often made up things that all of us knew were untrue from there the trip just got WORSE

Value for money tour
We joined a 8D7N tour covering Philadelphia, Washington DC, Corning Museum, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Boston and New York. The tour fare covered the coach and hotel accommodation. Our rooms were at good hotels and of good size. Meals were at own expense and there were optional tours (separate expense of course). We had realistic expectations in terms of having to wake up early and the long coach ride since we were covering many destinations. Our guide Cici Zhang and our coach driver made a big difference in making the tour enjoyable. Cici gave clear information and made sure everyone was taken care off, including those who did not join the optional tours. She paid attention to the guests’ requests and tried to provide assistance whenever possible. She was also funny. The coach driver (can’t remember his name) did his job efficiently and made sure the coach was clean. Cici ensured that everything went smoothly and punctually. Good job !

2 day Philly-Washington DC tour
I do not recommend Universal Vision. First of all , almost all the tour guides are sooooo rude for most of the visitors, unpleasant and raucous. Secondly, whenever or wherever we were we had’t got time to think about a place or got any thrill information about cities or places we were. When someone said that the tour guide was wrong about something (place we were, dates, people involved or famous people for the country who really count ,etc) “Jackie Chan” - jack screamed and was horrible. He did not have any respect for any tourists who were not from Asia. One of my friends’ speaks Chinese and said that the Guide told “amazing” (If any story could be called as that) stories to Chinese tourists and compendiously brief stories to all other nations. “Fantastic Jackie Chan” who did not have sense of humor as THE REAL ACTOR , all the time chased us up ( “FOLLOW ME FOLLOW ME ... otherwise I will leave you). How could the tour guide said that he would leave almost 20 people group just because they have lost and are 2 minutes late..... BUT on the other hand when he was late almost 15 minutes everything was great and where was the problem he actually said. Moreover, we stayed in a hotel almost 20 km far from DC . The floor through the whole “hotel” was sticky and nasty. What we did not expect was that we will come back with unhappy (whether horrible) memories. Eventually, I strongly do NOT RECOMMEND Universal Vision tours because of the chaotic way of organization. It was horrifying and eye-watering experience. It did not meet our expectations at all !!!!

Very nice experience. Totally recommend this tour
Just to clarify, we bought this tour on a different site and they sended us with Jupíter Legend Tours. But hey! It's was an awesome experience. We take the 3 days tour from manhattan and our experience was so good. They picked us up near our hotel in one of the many pre defined location provided by them, once we got on board of the minivan they took us to chinatown to begin our tour in the bus. Once we started our journey, they stopped every 2 or 3 hours and relaxing zones to buy refreshments or go the restrooms or simply to strech the legs. For a very fair price they included all the attractions, museuems, the niagara falls tours and washington museums and historical structures. All the scheduleded programs were accomplished as they promised. The wake up times, pick up and arrival times were perfectly sync. In summary, despite the fact that you had a very closed schedule, or despite you'll maybe wake up very early in the morning, or find some traffic. if you are with the disposition to have a good experience you defenitivly, definetively will have a good experience. We had the oportunity to share with other people from different countrys and locations, we laught, share, take awesome pictures, had a nice time in every attraction, in every hotel and they even included buffet meals in the last two days. So everything was worth it. The fair price, the hotels, the tours and attracttions. We recommend this tour very much. And i also want to give a mention our tour guide Zoe who was a very gentle and nice person.

So terrible!
We went on a 5 day tour to Niagara Falls, Boston and New York, booking with Take Tours. It was stated in our confirmation email that service would be provided by Jupiter Legend. Then in New York, we discovered that Universal Vision also handled this tour. Effectively we had 2 tour guides, with the 2nd one only for 1 day in New York. Our last day was free and easy in New York with bus transfer back to Washington. We changed hotels every night. We had paid for deluxe hotels and seemed like they were not so ‘deluxe’ or our expectations were much higher? And the hotels were located far away... in New York, they put us up in New Jersey which was 1.5 hours drive away. There was no breakfast provided... We spent a lot of time travelling. The bus was dirty. Windows and seats were dirty. It was most uncomfortable. What we did not expect was that the entire bus was filled with people from China. They were not good company at all... singing loudly, watching movies on their phones without headphones, spitting in public, drying their laundry in the bus etc. During one dinner, one man was splashing lobster bits all over others and others were attacking the food. It was horrible. The worst was our bus trip back to Washington! Universal vision arranged for us to travel by Eastern Bus) and to our horror, this was a public bus filled with Chinese again! They never queued, spit, talked on the phone loudly and they smoked inside the bus! The bus was late and we were all waiting in the cold. There were no assigned seats and everybody pushed/shoved to board the bus! Who would have expected this in the USA? And the bus driver drove like a madman. We were so relieved to have arrived in one piece and that our horrible ordeal had ended. We did come back with happy memories of the places we visited. The 2 tour guides were nice and friendly, fortunately. The staff who assisted us at Jupiter Legend and Universal Vision were friendly. It was horrifying and did not meet our expectations at all! And why couldn’t Universal Vision book us on a better bus to come back to Washington?
