Downtown Freedom Trail Walking Tour in Boston
From US$20,00
Overview
Explore American history on this walking tour along Boston’s Freedom Trail. Meander down cobblestone streets while taking in the city’s gorgeous, centuries-old architecture and learning about the American Revolution from your guide. Enjoy a relaxed stroll to the places that played a key role in the fight for independence, including the Old State House, Old South Meeting House, Faneuil Hall, Boston Common, and more.
What to Expect
Start your tour by meeting your guide at the Old State House, Boston’s oldest public building and the location where American independence was first declared. Then, see where the Boston Massacre occurred and stop by the Old South Meeting House, where a fateful gathering led to the Boston Tea Party.

The tour also includes stops at the Old Corner Bookstore, where Ralph Waldo Emerson and other famous authors once gathered, Park Street Church, where the prominent abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison gave his first major speech on the subject, and the Old Granary Cemetery, where Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and other seminal figures are buried.

The tour ends at Boston Common.

All over the place

Left more confused than when I started Would have been good to slow down tell the history through story that is more easily connected between key figures Limit the ghost stories in a hotel that really does not add to the tour
