Overview
Explore San Francisco at your own pace in a GoCar that provides a self-guided tour with GPS navigation. The tiny car takes you to city highlights such as the Presidio, Chinatown, Lombard Street, and Coit Tower. Choose from tour options that last from one hour to a full day, and start from one of two convenient locations: Beach Street near Fisherman's Wharf, or Union Square.
What to Expect
Make your own way to the Union Square or Beach Street location to pick up your GoCar. The staff provides a safety briefing, helmet, and driving instructions before you set out on your self-guided tour.

The GoCar is an open-top, 3-wheeled car that can accommodate up to two people per car, and reaches speeds of up to 35 miles (56 kilometers) per hour.

While driving the easy-to-handle GoCar, hear GPS directions that tell you where to go, and listen to taped commentary about the historical significance of each destination.

Have the option to take the designated route or create your own tour itinerary. The preloaded tour includes more than 50 landmarks such as Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Point, Crissy Field, Ocean Beach, and Lombard Street.

Stop when you like, and have time for photo ops, lunch, and shopping, before returning your GoCar at the end of your tour.

So much fun! Also really pricey.

This was something I always wanted to try here. We had so much fun! It was a little scary at first and overpriced, but Jana at the desk was super helpful and answered all our questions. It's definitely a bucket list item and worth it.
