Small-Group Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Tour with Lunch
US$169,00
Overview
There's no need to choose between Napa and Sonoma valleys for a day in California’s wine country—this tour takes you to both. Visit three or more hand-picked wineries for tastings, and enjoy lunch at a gourmet restaurant in historic Sonoma plaza. Let a guide handle all the driving and navigation, so you can relax and enjoy the fantastic scenery and wine. Plus, a small group ensures an intimate, memorable experience.
What to Expect
After morning pickup at your San Francisco hotel in a luxury van, travel north across the Golden Gate Bridge and through the rolling hills of Marin County to Sonoma Valley. Visit at least two of Sonoma's best wineries to taste Northern California varietals and learn about the production process. Mingle and compare tasting notes with your small group limited to 13 people.

Known for its cuisine as well as as its wine, Sonoma has hundreds of restaurants, and picking one can be daunting. You'll be sure to have a great meal at a specially selected bistro right on Sonoma’s historic plaza. After lunch, take a short drive to neighboring Napa Valley to experience America's most famous wine destination. Celebrate your wine country trip with a sparkling wine toast at famed bubbly producer Domaine Chandon. Your day ends with a relaxing, scenic ride back to San Francisco.

You need to get in touch with Viator. They have inumerable tours, some from the airport. However, you have to pay ahead of time and if your flight is late, you’ve probably lost your money.

Best to ask the operators on this. I do know that the hotels are all downtown. They do drop you off at your hotel at the end. The tour goes from about 8:30 AM to about 5 PM.
