Good value

Well worth the money. For two adults, we spent $133. We saw the zoo, the Kewah Boardwalk, NASA Space Center, the downtown Aquarium, and the Museum of Natural Sciences.

I am a mother of four children under the age of 10. These passes were AMAZING and such a deal! We had a blast going to all of these places while visiting a different city for such a great price! We’ll definitely use the city passes again as we travel the world with the whole family!

Good way to see some principal attractions
Jan 2020
We're part way through our visit to Houston and so far have used the pass to see Space Center, Childrens Museum and Natural Science Museum so we have recovered what we've paid and the Zoo remains on our list to do. So it's a good way of packaging some key highlights of the area in one price to help with budgeting. We haven't come across much in the way of semi obligatory upgrades - sure there are things to consider such as parking in city centers, there are additional exhibits at the Science Museum but these are at extra cost to regular visitors so I don't feel we've been singled out using CityPass. My only guidance would be at Childrens Museum and Science Museum the citypass was promoted heavily but when I produced my phone with the QR codes in my wallet, staff didn't readily know how to turn these into tickets so it always seemed to mean handing over my phone which went off to a back office somewhere for someone to figure this out. May be that CityPass needs to work with the attractions to get this bit streamlined, it only took five minutes but on busy days those five minutes are creating lines for others and it makes me as visitor feel like I'm not doing something correctly.

deduct one point because of the aquarium
Dec 2019
I went to space center, natural museum, and museum of fine arts, they are great and worthy!
However, the aquarium is horrible.
I went there because Houston city pass includes the ticket.
It was depressing to see the fishes and a tiger getting trapped in such an awful place.
The aquarium was annexed to a restaurant, and at the entrance there is a two-floor high tube. However, The tube is so narrow that the long fishes could barely extend the body. I saw a green, long fish curling itself. It is longer than the diameter of the tube so it could barely move. The poor thing could not swim backward or forward, only up or down. How terrible!
It is a living jail for the finish.
The tiger is lonely and irrigative. It also lives in very poor condition.
I feel totally upset after the visit. This is absolutely animal cruelty.
I keep thinking about the poor animals after leaving Houston. The city shall close the aquarium since it fails to provide a humane environment for the animals. And it is a shame that City Pass endores such a place.

Cost effective and very recommended
Aug 2019
It's a no brainer that if you are visiting a city and want to visit all of the main attractions, you need to buy the city pass. The city pass is especially useful and very much needed in Houston because of the space center charges like $100 for a family of 4 and that how much you will spend with the city pass for 2 people. And it covers like 5 to 6 attractions. Definitely but the city pass but if you are low on budget or can't spend a lot of money in Houston, there are plenty of cheap and/or free things to do around. Also, don't buy the city pass if you are only visiting only one of the 5 or 6 locations that are included in the city pass because this is the most common mistake a lot of people make. Also, don't buy it if you are visiting for only 1 or 2 days since you need at least 3 to 4 days at the least they get full use of the city pass Houston.

Disappointed
We used the pass to go to the Aquarium, NASA and Kemah and this pass basically gets you in the door and very little else. Be aware that there will be many hidden extras. Parking at each place cost $5-10. At the aquarium, the stingray, shark ride is an extra $10 per person. At, Kemah we had to wait in a 45 min lime to get a pass bracelet with other ticket buyers even though we had already purchased our passes at another venue. They need a fast pass lane for those that have already purchased theirs.(This was available at the other venues) Your pass doesn’t cover certain rides at Kemah so extra costs. This will be true at the science museum as well. The pass gets you in but there are multiple exhibits that you will pay extra for. Beware that the crowds at NASA and Kemah were so large time to wait was extremely long. It makes me sad that young families will pay $$$$ for vacation because of these venues sticking to them in every way possible.

Thank you for your feedback. Many of the Houston attractions do offer extra rides, exhibits, movies, etc., for an extra cost. You can see exactly what is included with CityPASS admission for no additional charge on our website at www.citypass.com/houston/plan-your-visit-houston#tab=admission.

The Way to Go
Jul 2019 • Family
When spending time in visiting Houston, if you have plans to visit the major attractions in Houston, do yourself a favor and purchase the City Pass on your phone. Two days will allow you to have plenty of time to see five of the 7 major attraction for $62 for adults, less for children. If you’ve only got one day to visit 3 attractions, you’d break even, with no waits in lines to purchase admission tickets.
If you only have time to visit 1-2attraction, just purchase individual tickets at the ticket window of the attraction.
The City Pass is an excellent value if visiting 3 or more attractions and it’s good for 9 consecutive days.

Its a great deal
Jul 2019 • Family
Its a great deal
But only if you use all locations!
Some, like the aquarium just include entry and u have to bug a million other things at the aquarium or pay a different to get all access
It is still a good deal and worth it ig you plan using all tickets during your stay
