Major elements of the show cut, including divers
Definitely call ahead to see if all portions of the show are in show. We showed up to find the entire high diving and ropes portions were cut. Fight/stunt scenes were sloppy and acting was disengaged and frankly they looked bored. Server was equally as disinterested. Skip and save your money.

    Great time with friends.
Wonderful experience at this dinner show. We ate fried chicken, corn on the cob, a wonderful creamy soup, pulled pork, cole slaw, mashed taters, and pudding. The show was fun and entertaining. A bit pricey @ $81 with tax. Went with friends and had a blast. Would do again.

Overall it is a fun friendly atmosphere great for family's. I highly recommend the vip package . All the hard work and dedication that is put in to make such a show look so easy is amazing .

The show was very good. Lots of talent there. Funny. Wait staff was excellent but food was a huge disappointment. Chicken was dry. Potatoes were barely warm and no butter. Dessert pudding was gritty.

    Funny and Entertaining-Especially with Kids
Super cute show! I was worried the it wouldn't hold the kid's attention (ages 9 and 6) but they were said when it was over! Staff was super friendly and stayed in character the entire time! Austin was a great server! Food was delicious! Definitely a fun evening with the family while in Piegon Forge!

*l*The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud: A Quirky Blend of Humor and Entertainment with a Side of Disappointment – 3.5 Stars* If you're expecting Broadway, redirect your wagon. But, if you're game for a night of dad jokes and splashy surprises, The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud might just be your cup of tea. The sets? Top-notch. Think water features, high-flying aerial acts, and animals that'd make Noah nod in approval. It's like a hillbilly circus met a Hollywood set. Music-wise, it's a mixed bag. One of the singers could've easily been the lead, outshining the actual lead singer whose pitchy tunes sometimes hit the ear wrong. Think American Idol auditions – some hidden gems amidst the try-hards. The Christmas show was, well, like opening a gift you didn't really want. Disjointed and leaving you wishing for the regular season show. It's more ho-ho-ho than history lesson, with enough dad jokes to make you eye-roll into next week.-which isn't a bad thing 😀 Acting? A bit like watching your uncle trying to remember his lines at the family skit. Overdone, and at times, you're straining to hear what's being said. The show kicks off with a promising band but then nosedives into a sales pitch for their other show, Stampede. Less show, more tell. Food? It's a hit or miss. Sides are passable, but the chicken's greasier than a used car salesman – leaving a trail of tummy troubles. Pulled pork? Let's just say the BBQ enthusiast of our group was not a fan. Vegetarians, brace yourselves. The "meal" is a frozen veggie medley with a seasoning avalanche. And the rice? It's like it got lost on the way to a different cuisine (Asian not southern) Desserts are a letdown – think something a 12-year-old could whip up during a TikTok break. Improvement tips? For starters, how about a veggie pot pie that actually feels southern? Desserts could use a lift too – maybe some mini pies? And hey, if you're offering cocktails, don't make it an Olympic sport to get one. Once the show starts, the servers vanish faster than Houdini, so good luck getting a refill. In short, it's a bit of fun, but don't expect to be blown away by the culinary experience or the performances. Entertaining, yes, but for the price, it leaves a bit to be desired. Makes you second-guess checking out their sister show, The Stampede. But hey, it's an experience. Not all bad, not all good. So, it lands a tad above average in my book.

    OVERPRICED!!!
We have seen all the major shows in pegion forge. This was the WORST!!! The ‘fued’ between the 2 families was confusing and boring. Some of the acts looked out of place with no flow. Our waiter was excellent. The dinner was average. There are so many other shows that far exceeded our expectations. Choose a different show if you can!!!!

    Overpriced and terrible
My family with 2 teenage boys went to the show on Dec 28. You start by standing in line outside until they start letting people in the gift shop area at about 7:30 (for 8pm show). You then move into a very crowded gift shop & wait in line again because they take your picture before going to your table so they can try & sell you more. Dinner is brought almost immediately after you’re seated. Food was just ok. Not a lot of flavor, but ok. At 8 you get a little singing & lots of ads for the other dinner shows in the area. Actual show starts at 8:35 & goes till 9:35. It’s a rough hour! No real story, odd scenes that really didn’t make any sense, mediocre singing, middle school level acting. Looking around at other people, I saw lots of unhappy faces. It was ridiculously expensive for what you get. Do yourself a huge favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere! If you insist on going, don’t buy a flag or cowbell as there were no times during the entire performance to use them.

    Absolutely Terrible - So disappointed!
Let me start off by saying the regular show may be totally different, but DO NOT waste your money on the Holiday Show. It was, by far, the worse show I have ever been to anywhere! Bless them! Everything was so bad! From Terrible writing and choreography to terrible acting and performing . We have been to several shows over the years and were shocked at how bad the whole experience was! From start to finish, the whole show seemed thrown together and absolutely random. It Reminded me of young kids in a middle school play that could tap dance. We kept saying, this has to get better but that didn’t happen. We were convinced the real performers were on vacation. Luckily, we had a good laugh and will be a memory we can joke about for years to come. Now, even though it was absolutely horrible, there were a few positives. The very end one is the performers sang O Holy Night and it was very moving and definitely the highlight of the whole show. And The staff was friendly when we entered and the food was not bad. It was what you would expect from a dinner and show. I hope they go back to the regular show with good reviews sooner than later. Not everyone may find the humor we did in wasting our time and money.

Great food, but lackluster show. Overpriced!
Food was great, all you can eat fried chicken, pork BBQ, corn on the cob, slaw, real mashed potatoes, rolls, creamy vegetable soup, and dessert (banana or chocolate) pudding. Servers do a great job, at the start of the show, someone comes out and welcomes guests, a hillbilly band plays a couple of songs, and they leave the stage. Then, more announcements, and finally at about 20 minutes after the top of the hour, the actual shows starts, and runs about an hour. Not very well written, and didn’t flow very well. At one point, several people were jumping in a pool (a river in the story line), and 2 golden retrievers come out. One jumps in, and the other one doesn’t. Kind of awkward. Don’t understand the significance of the dogs. Anyway, very high priced for what you get in my opinion. Needs some work!

    Disappointed!
This has been our favorite dinner show for years, but it has changed. The food quality has gone down and the entertainment is lacking. I will no longer recommend to friends visiting Pigeon Forge. Save your money and go elsewhere!

    Don’t spend the money.
Ouch. This show was not good. Food was comparable to other shows like medieval times, and etc. plenty of food and beverage. The servers were great. The show was just not good at all. I think we may have had the B team. Looking at the video online, there were many more people on stage then the night we were there. Maybe we just had a bad show/crew.

Hate to say it, but the “new” show isn’t very good.
We’ve been to this show many times over the years and always had a blast. This time around, it was just ok. The food was as good as always but the “new” show is terrible. It was missing the charm that it used to have. It also seemed like it was considerably shorter than years past, which given the entertainment level of the new script, might not be a bad thing. My kids who have raved about how much they’ve loved this show in the past even commented “it was just not very good this year.” Hope they work on and tweak it to bring back the fun.

After spending $250 on non-refundable tickets to take my kids on a mountain vacation and being excited about attending one of my favorite dinner shows, I was shocked when we arrived and were told that our 6 month old was not allowed to be brought in with his carseat or stroller. When asked if we could get a high chair, we were informed that they do not allow that and that if we wanted to stay we would need to hold him the entire time. I'm not sure the last time someone else had a 6 month old in their lap during a meal time, but Momma didn't get to eat.

This NEEDS to be posted on your website. I was extremely upset that I was not made aware prior to arrival that this was going to be an issue.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. While our email confirmations when both booking online and over the phone do state that strollers are not allowed inside the theater, this is definitely something that could be more clearly stated on our website as you've suggested. I am reviewing your feedback with management so we can be sure we continue to provide this information to guests in advance. Again, thank you for taking the time to write your review and we hope you will consider visiting with us again.

The food was very good and plentiful. The waiters were impressive. Unfortunately, I can’t provide an accurate review of the show. Our seats were horrible. Way on the side and to able to see much of the show. The focus of the show was strictly directed to the center of the audience. I became more frustrated as the show progressed. I ordered the tickets six weeks in advance but that apparently meant nothing in terms of getting better seats. The seats were row C seats 1 and 2. You do not know which seats you get until you pick up your tickets at the event. At any other event, these seats would have been priced much lower than those with straight on views. Not at this show. Beware.

Very disappointed in the Covid safety measures in place at the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show. I was encouraged at the beginning of the experience. There were temperature checks, face coverings were required and guests were reminded to stay 6 feet apart from other guests. There were markings on the floor to ensure social distancing.

Unfortunately, the only safety measure in place in the auditorium was a small, plastic “spit” barrier between the tables. There was no distancing between the tables and it looked to be a full house. Guests were told face coverings were not required in the auditorium and as I scanned the audience, I could see this was taken to heart.

When the show ended, social distancing and facial coverings were once again important. This seems to be a huge gap in Covid mitigation strategies. Perhaps guests are only exposed to Covid when entering and existing the venue and not when in the dining area.

With Covid surging, my hope was that the dinner show would offer more in the way of safety. We all have to do are part to limit the spread of Covid and this dinner show fell short.

Very corny! We attended based on other reviews and were very disappointed. They rush you to eat so the waiters and waitresses can be part of the show. No service during the show, so no refills on drinks. The drinks were obviously poured ahead of time as they were very watered down. The food was okay, nothing to rave about. We ended up leaving early. Maybe a good show for children but not for two adults in their honeymoon.

Good times for the entire family. The food was awesome and is all you can eat although we didn't have to ask for any extras except the awesome cream soup. Fried chicken, slaw, mashed potatoes, and a choice of desserts with everything equally good. The show was enjoyed by all ages 13 to 56 and is very reminiscent of Hee Haw type humor as should be expected. We bought tickets online and were seated at D25 and had perfect view of the entire show. Show up early as there are plenty of phot ops outside and even some goats to entertain the kids!

I honestly don't know how this show gets the positive reviews that it does. It was so mediocre, the plot and acting were like a local community theater or high school production. This isn't the cast's fault, they can only work with what they're given. But ugh, our whole family thought the show was pretty awful. I am being generous giving it a 3. The food is just okay. I ordered 2 vegetarian entrees when I made the reservation, it was written on the ticket envelope, yet everyone was given the soup with chicken broth in it. Our server was rude when I asked about it. She just dropped food and ran, and it was difficult to even speak to her. Our evening at the Comedy Barn was MUCH better. Eat elsewhere and go there!

Without spoiling the theater for those who have never seen it, I would say this is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. There was something for everyone. I laughed, cheered and even cried during one portion towards the end. The dinner was very good and the service was top notch. If I could give this one more than 5 stars I would.

The food and service were good. Unfortunately, the show was really dreadful. Six of us attended (ages 12-45) and we all agreed that it was utterly horrible. So, go to a really good restaurant for half the price and learn from our mistake!

The meal was horrible. The chicken was way over done, we couldn't even finish it and we didn't try the corn on the cob because it looked so bad. The slaw and the pulled pork was good, but nothing special.

The show was cute and well done, though we were placed all the way to stage left in row C and had a partially obstructed view. Sound was good.

Due to the COVID environment we were very selective about activities during the week we were in town. One activity we chose was the Hatfield and McCoy Christmas Dinner Show. COVID precautions included temperature checks at the door, masks by servers, and partitions between families. Face masks are required when not seated. The food was plentiful and delicious. We went with 2 children (ages 2 and 5) and they remained engaged the entire time. Be advised that children age 2 and under are free, but they do not get a seat. You will need to hold them in your lap. Very enjoyable family entertainment.
