Couldn’t find my group. They left me. Ran around Charleston looking for them. Disappointed horrible end to my day and trip

Our tour was oversold, the guide was not a good storyteller whatsoever, we didn’t go to a single famous watering hole - hotel bar, then weird chain Mexican restaurant, and I couldn’t tell you the last stop because there was no effort to keep any kind of time and so we left at 9:30, which was supposed to be the end time, but we were still sitting in the weird Mexican place (stop 2) listening to the tour guide ramble about the Murdaugh murders. I also expected infamous, OLD, historic Charleston true crime, but we barely got any of that and instead were subjected to a very bad version of the Murdaugh murders that wasn’t linear, nor accurate. Save your money and do a different tour.

Our tour guide was kind, personable and knowledgeable about Charleston and the history of crime/pirates etc. However, over the 2 hour tour we were only told crime/pirate stories when walking in between the bars. We stopped at 3 bars and the time spent in the bars was not conversation related to the crime/tour we paid for. We had a nice time and enjoyed all the places we were taken, but for the price- we would not recommend.

Lots of information with the tour guide having a vast knowledge of the history of Charleston. He was personable, interesting and had a good sense of humor. He made the tour quite enjoyable.

This trip was so much fun! Abbey, our guide was amazing and her stories for each stop were interesting and knowledgeable. All of the bars were uniquely different and awesome. Definitely would do it again!

This tour was way too long. It’s supposed to be two hours, but ended up being three hours. By the time we were done, we had very limited food options as kitchens and restaurants were closed & we were really hungry. I also wish I knew that we were going to only upscale bars where the drinks were very expensive. Just wasn’t what I was expecting.

It was a great tour! I highly recommend doing this tour. I learned a lot about the true crimes in Charleston. My tour guide was engaging and great at telling the stories. All of the places we stopped at had good drinks too.

This tour with Abby was a blast! She was knowledgeable and fun. She took us to a variety of different bars and told stories that ranged the centuries. Highly recommend!

A lot of interesting history that you probably won’t find in a textbook. It was great exploring Charleston’s bars.

We had an amazing time! Meeting new people, checking out local bars, and hearing great stories. Abby was new but did a fantastic job! She was funny and knowledgeable. This is great for a night time activity in Charleston. We will probably do it again next time! By the way, it was raining but we appreciate Abby's positivity and we kept going through the whole tour.

True Crime Stories Guided Pub Crawl & Cocktails Had a great time! Anderson was a fun guide and great storyteller. Fun walk through the city while visiting local bars and enjoying a drink.

Tour guide John was an excellent speaker with an interesting story to share. Easy to understand and informative. He worked hard to make us comfortable and ensure we could all hear which was important given my husband’s significant hearing loss. We only visited 3 places instead of four but they were very different and all interesting. I assumed there would be places with “prohibition cocktails “ but it was the standard drink menus. A very fun time snd small group allowed us to connect with others on the tour. Very glad I booked this.

Really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun seeing the city and learning some of its history.

Our guide was excellent and the tour was fun. We did the True Crimes and Pub Crawl Tour. Loved the rooftop bar and will go there again.
