Excellent guide (Keri?) and tour. Everything very easy and laid back. A little little history, hiking, general education, and nice company. Looking for easy taste of life in and outside of Portland check it out! Also did not mind hiking/walking in the off and on rain!

The best part of the experience was spending hours in nature. The beauty, the sounds, the smells —all were a balm for the soul.

Enjoyed our day at the waterfalls. The hiking/walking was enough to get moving, but not too much for the non-hikers in the group.

A very nice small group tour (8 people total). We were blessed with a sunny gorgeous day. Our guide was very good transmitting information on geology, history of the areas visited, plants in bloom (+ other plants), animals in the area and more. The group (4 parties of 2) was very considerate and thoughtful.

The easy hikes to four waterfalls thru moss-covered trees and plots of spring flowers was invigorating and peaceful at the same time. I enjoyed the educational comments about Portland history and flora. I'd recommend to my friends and fam.

The waterfalls were my favorite part because they were all gorgeous and easy hikes especially the Bridal Veil waterfall. I would recommend Around Portland Tours because they respond fast and helped me store my bags. It eased my mind and helped me so much because I had a late flight. My tour guide was so nice and she provided lots of great restaurant recommendations. She was also knowledgeable about the hikes and the history behind it which made me like the tours more. There was plenty of rest stops which helped me because I needed the caffeine. Overall, I am happy that I got to see the bountiful waterfalls of Oregon. Breathtaking nature beauty and a great tour.

Hi there! I was hoping to catch this tour on my way out of Portland and will have a suitcase with me. Is this something that can be accommodated? Thank you for your help!
Are sneakers sufficient or do you need hiking boots?
What level activity are the hikes?

is there a limt to number of people allowed on tour?
is 6ft distancing practiced?

It was a small group. We rode in a van, so social distancing was not possible. When we were there, the COVID numbers were quite low. The tour providers were progressive. Reach out and ask if they require masks while in the van.
Would you recommend the morning tour or the afternoon tour?

It depends on the temperature. If you’re looking to stay cooler go in the morning.

How much walking is involved on the tour?

A good amount probably 2 Miles total. Some strenuous uphill
This hike is also for kids? Or is to long?

Kids have had a great time on the tour! Most of our excursions include several shorter hikes instead of one long one (although if we get special requests we’ve been known to fit up to 5 miles in a morning!). We’ve taken all ages from baby to energetic 4- and 5-year-olds to teens and all have found the right thing for them :)
Is there an afternoon tour available? If not, what would it take to arrange one? 2 people.

I’m sorry to respond so late! We do have an afternoon departure, at 2 pm every day except in the middle of winter when the days are shorter (when we usually have a 1 pm departure).
